The soft closing design is especially suitable for applications with frequent opening and closing, thanks to the self-extinguishing UL-approved thermoplastic locking lever component that significantly reduces friction and wear when it slides on the pegs. The stainless-steel core then intervenes to ensure higher resistance against various mechanical stresses and vibrations from harsh industrial environments.
Powertite, with its perfect geometric fit, increases load-bearing capacity in the tapped nut thread by over 20 percent compared to screws with trilobular load-bearing cross-section. That creates a series of technical and commercial benefits: standards-compliant tapping torques, plastically stressed assembly even into conical cast core holes in Al-Gd, a preload force similar to metric fastenings, and the possibility of larger core hole tolerances to optimise lightweight metals casting.
The S100 can be configured to meet each customer’s individual needs. It can be equipped with up to two internal grinding spindles, or one internal and one external spindle. In addition to a fixed wheelhead, it can be supplied with a manual wheelhead and a 2.5 degree Hirth coupling. The optimal combination consists of an automatic wheelhead with a 1 degree Hirth. A synchronous motor drives the grease-lubricated internal and external belt spindles. The machine is operated by the FANUC 0i-TF PLUS controller, together with the proven STUDER operating system.

The quick release fastener consists of two elements: the coupling GN 1050 and the tailored threaded stud GN 1050.1. A safety locking button protects the coupling from being accidentally opened. When pressing the button, the sleeve can be moved axially to unlock a stud inserted into the notch on the inside. Operation of electro-permanent magnets is energy efficient by design as the magnet uses power only when switching from active to inactive and does not consume power otherwise.

EXAIR's No Drip Siphon Fed Atomizing Nozzles are available in round and flat fan liquid patterns. The volume of liquid flow depends on either the gravity or suction height coupled with air pressure. All of EXAIR’s spray nozzles, which include nozzles for pressure fed applications, are composed of 303 stainless steel adding durability and corrosion resistance.  They are available with 1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 NPT inlets with a variety of styles, flow rates and liquid patterns. Mounting brackets are also available for easy installation in specific areas on product lines. They are CE compliant and conflict mineral free.
Glebar pairs the wider work wheel with an oscillating regulating wheel powered by servo motors to reduce setup time and improve sphericity. The slides can be programmed to finite positions through a touchscreen HMI. When an operator selects a job, the servo motors automatically adjust to programmed positions which reduces setup time.

L-812 linear motion modules are available with travel ranges from 102mm to 610mm (4” to 24”) and easily configurable. Two linear modules can be combined to form XY-tables and with the availability of the brake, a vertical axis can be added for XYZ multi-axis motion and precision automation applications. A folded drive train further facilitates integration by reducing the overall length, installing the motor side-by side with the linear stage, instead of the more common inline construction.

VpCI-148 Paper also presents positive environmental aspects and a worker friendly profile. As paper, it is sourced from renewable materials, whereas common VCI plastics are sourced from fossil fuels.
