Monaghan Tooling Group now offers the Diatool easyZERO runout compensation nuts in a kit form. Designed for round tools using ER collets (ER16 to ER40), the easyZERO quickly and easily corrects runout errors and misalignment for round tools, providing reamers with the stability to hold tolerances as tight as 0.0011”.
A variety of kits are stocked for immediate shipment -- ranging from a basic kit (easyZERO nut with hex key) to a comprehensive kit that includes the nut, hex key, spanner, and ER collet. With this unique technology, cutting edges equally share the chip load, ensuring concentric cutting, consistent tool wear, and extended tool life. By rapidly dialing in runout, users spend less time resetting tools and collets, improving efficiency, reducing scrap rates, and lowering overall costs.
Installing the easyZERO is as straightforward as it is effective – simply replace the existing ER collet chuck nut with the easyZERO runout compensation nut. With six adjustment screws, the nut allows users to dial out up to 0.0011” of runout in seconds. A video demonstration can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcpxMP9zVRQ&t=26s
Monaghan Tooling Group provides five sizes of Diatool’s easyZERO compensation nuts to fit ER16 to ER40 collets, to suit virtually any reaming application. Products are available from stock and can be purchased online at www.easyzeronut.com, or through local tooling distributors.
