Milling

Available in three models, the VL 30-5X five-axis machining center, and VL 30, and larger VL 50 3-axis versions, this series features a 15 hp 50,000 rpm spindle accepting HSK E25 tooling for precise roughing and ultra-fine finishing. An integrated tool changer holds up to 90 tools.

To avoid interference with workpiece contours, the lengths of DirectCooling Series holders are ideally matched to one another and offer optimal stability and unlimited flexibility. This flexibility is further enhanced with an HSK-T universal standard interface for turning tools that ensures straightforward connection to multifunction machines such as turning/milling centers and milling/turning centers.

The MD344 Supreme and the MD340 Supreme three-flute versions both feature a 38° helix, while the MD340 Supreme four-flute has a 39°/41° variable helix, the MD340 five-flute version features a differential or unequal pitch.

The MaxiMill 273 combines all the advantages of positive and negative inserts in one cutter that boosts stability and cost-effectiveness while reducing vibration for superior surface finishes. With an approach angle of 44.6o and a maximum feed rate of 2 mm/rev., the MaxiMill 273’s high insert thicknesses and strong obtuse corner angles improve stability and contribute to excellent system reliability.

DoMultiRec multifunctional milling cutter with center cutting capability enables a single tool to perform multiple milling operations, including shouldering, pocketing, and drilling. The DoMultiRec inserts to ensure strong and sharp cutting edges during various milling and drilling operations.

The A Brand AE-VTSS end mill offers the following features & benefits: Positive rake angle which reduces cutting force. High rigidity to improve milling accuracy. The 5-flute square-end end mill with sharp edges, chamfers and corner radii joins a 4-flute square-end and ball-nose end mill with both straight and Weldon® shanks as part of WIDIA’s WCE solid end mill portfolio. The WCE4, a 4-flute geometry solid end mill, combines the asymmetrical index and variable helix features to excel in operations like full slots and heavy cuts. 

The MaxiMill 491 system provides exceptional ease of use, allowing users to quickly exchange inserts while the tool remains in the machine. This capability significantly reduces machine downtime while the precision-ground inserts deliver stable and smooth cutting thanks to CERATIZIT’s state-of-the-art Dragonskin coating technology.
