Milling

TC630 Supreme

With the TC630 Supreme, users can benefit from a range of advantages. A high level of process reliability for unstable machining operations, for example on lathes with driven tools or for long overhangs. Areas of application include medical engineering, precision engineering, the aerospace sector as well as electronics and general metalworking.

Micro5 5-axis machining center

The compact Micro5 machining center, to be demonstrated by Chiron Group at IMTS 2022, booth 134542 in the Germany stand, is ideal for machining the smallest medical instruments and delicate parts for microprecision industry. The innovative machine is said to guarantee maximum precision for small, microtechnical workpieces such as medical, watchmaking, jewelry and small electronics.

D27 Milling Head

The FISCHER D27 milling head is specifically designed for the most powerful, as well as long-tooled, milling applications. With the high power and torque output, the D27 milling head still maintains its sleek symmetric outline while being dynamic and robust. To ensure accuracy and repeatability, the unit incorporates direct optical encoders, dual motors and dual clamps on the A-axis. The D27 milling head is intentionally designed to utilize the maximum power and torque capacity of our FISCHER 275mm spindles for the highest chip removal rate.

NuMax ILock

Tangentially mounted inserts allow for smooth uniform chip formation at high feed rates. The patented end-station fully supports the insert for reliable operation and unobstructed chip evacuation. End station inserts are available from .031 to .250 corner radius with zero cutter body modifications.

1:16 Tapered Solid Carbide End Mills

EMUGE-FRANKEN 1:16 Tapered Carbide End Mills work well in a full range of materials from aluminum, carbon steels, stainless steels, and exotic nickel alloys. They are made of a premium micro-grain carbide substrate with TIALN-T21 coating which resists heat, edge wear and chipping. Corner radii further prevent wear or chipping while prolonging tool life. Tools are four-fluted, feature standard US length and straight inch shank (h6), and are available in three sizes: 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4".

G220 Turn-Mill Center

The G220 features a Z-axis slide with a motorized milling spindle and hydrodynamically mounted Y/B axis arranged above the axis of rotation. The powerful milling spindle is available with an HSK-T63 interface with specs of 12,000 rpm, 60.3 hp (49 kW) and 53.1 ft lbs (72 Nm) at 25% DC, or an HSK-T40 interface with specs of 18,000 rpm, 25.5 hp (19 kW) and 22.1 ft lbs (30 Nm) at 25% DC. This facilitates a wide range of milling and drilling operations, and the machine is also capable of full 5-axis machining.
