The coarse pitch cutters retain a prominent feature of TungForce-Rec that provides maximum tool rigidity during demanding operations. In addition, flutes on the cutter body are designed with large chip space to promote smooth evacuation, preventing chips from clogging during operations.

Turbo 16, Helical Turbo 16 Milling Cutters

Versatile Turbo 16 square shoulder milling cutters deliver outstanding results and process security with exceptional ramping capability. WCE Solid End Milling Platform

The WCE platform includes four-flute, square-end and ball nose end mills with both straight and Weldon shanks and is available in both metric and inch dimensions. The WCE5 five-flute geometry will be released later in 2022. Orders for the WCE4 end mill, as well as other WIDIA metal cutting tooling, can be placed through WIDIA authorized distribution partners.

TungFlex Carbide Shanks

Since carbide shanks provide lower deflection than steel shanks, they enable aggressive machining with increased cutting parameters. This amounts to reduced machining time and increased productivity. Also, the new shanks provide excellent vibration resistance, enabling extremely productive machining with long overhang setup.

MultiTHREAD Thread Mills

MultiTHREAD Thread Mills feature a proprietary TIN T21 coating developed by EMUGE, which reduces chip welding and improves chip evacuation. MultiTHREAD Thread Mills also allow one tool to thread both through and blind holes and make right or left-hand threads. Two types of sub-micro grain carbide thread mills are offered – full form or single plane.

DoFeed LNMU0303UER Inserts

The new LNMU0303UER inserts are designed to provide a smaller approach angle than existing LNMU0303ZER inserts when set on the cutter body so that the insert generates thin chips. This chip thinning effect reduces cutting loads, minimizing damage on the cutting edges during machining of exotic materials for longer insert tool life. Also, a small approach angle directs the cutting forces in the axial direction towards the spindle.

SDMX Indexable Insert

There are two indexable insert sizes with facet—SDMX0904ZDR-E27 and SDMX1205ZDR-E27. The M4002 cutter provides a depth of cut of 1.5 or 2.0 mm and is available in diameters of 25-125 mm or 1-4 in. and is ideal for high-speed milling in steel and cast iron, stainless steel and materials with difficult cutting properties. And for demanding machining in mold and die making and general machining.

AH3225 Insert Grade

AH3225 consists of the latest nano multi-layer coating technology with three major properties with excellent coating substrate adhesion for a high level of wear and fracture resistance. Integrating a dedicated carbide substrate with excellent thermal property provides the grade with increased thermal shock resistance and hardness reducing thermal crack generation on the cutting edge. This prevents unpredictable insert failure, significantly extending tool life and reliability for steel machining.
