MMV 4200 / 5200 / 6200 Travelling Column Machining Centers

The extremely compact machine bed of the travelling column machining centres is a heat-treated, welded steel structure that provides a torsion-resistant and stable base for all components and machining operations. The production of large and heavy workpieces up to 8,000 kg is enabled by a powerful motor spindle with 46 kW spindle power, a torque of up to 170 Nm and a spindle speed of up to 15,000 rpm (18,000 rpm HSK-A63). Both spindle versions are grease-lubricated. The new versions of the previous model support complete machining of very long and heavy workpieces without reclamping.

Xtra·Tec XT M5468 Round Insert Milling Cutter

The Xtra·Tec XT M5468 provides protection against twisting and cutting-edge rotation due to the eight facets on its indexable inserts. It also yields maximum productivity thanks to its ability to support optimum cutting data and promote long tool life, as well as maximum process stability due to the indexing of the indexable inserts using facets. This oversized milling cutter, which handles machining operations on deep shoulders, is easily adaptable to various machining operations due to its variety of indexable insert sizes and geometries. A high level of flexibility is enhanced by a cylindrical modular interface that permits its use in existing adapter systems.

AddDoFeed Milling Cutters

AddDoFeed uses minimal Size 02 inserts of 4 mm (5/32″) inscribed circle and offers close pitch cutter bodies that boast unrivaled insert-per-diameter density for a small diameter indexable cutter. This allows a 16 mm (5/8″) diameter body to carry four inserts and 25 mm (1″) seven inserts for higher feed rates and increased productivity.

HN800-V HMC Machining Center

The HN800-V is uniquely built with the rigidity and accuracy necessary to perform ultra-precise contour machining and boring of components with critical tolerances. The world’s first machining center to feature hardened and ground inverted V-shaped slideways, the HN800-V achieves volumetric accuracy of .00005” per foot. The V-shaped slideway system converts the weight of the column unit into restraining force on the sliding unit.

TungForce-Rec 12

TungForce-Rec is a high-density shoulder milling cutter series with a secure insert clamping system that boasts excellent process security. Carrying all the advantages of the existing size 06 V-bottom inserts, the new size 12 inserts offer an extended cutting edge length that is twice as long as the size 06. The cutter body also features the same rigid design as TungForce-Rec 06, being furnished with a thick core diameter and heavily supported backing behind the insert. These features enable the use of longer insert clamping screws for greater screw-thread engagement security, ensuring tool reliability when used at a high metal removal rate.   

PVD-Coated WHH15X Milling Grade

The WHH15X grade features HIPIMS technology for excellent coating adhesion and a high degree of hardness, and AlTiN coating optimized for hard machining; this results in an extremely smooth surface for the best chip removal and high surface quality. This new grade also has an extremely wear-resistant carbide substrate and is available for tools for copy milling and finish milling, such as: the F2234 and F2231 round insert milling cutters, the F2139 profile milling cutter, the M5008 high feed milling cutter, as well as the SDHX, BCGX, and LNHX wiper inserts.
