Packed with versatility, one High Feed SP tool handles a complete range of high feed milling operations and materials. The TraceBoss software interfaces with most portable surface roughness gages via a USB connection. One click in TraceBoss configures the gage, initiates a measurement, and presents the results and graphics full screen and in high resolution. The software display is optimized for the highest visibility in shop environments.

The 2022 update features significant improvements in flexibility, enabling the software to be adapted to individual production needs; usability, for a better user experience and process visibility; and efficiency and automation, reducing manual steps for faster processing.

GN 742.5 Fluid/Fill Drain Plugs, GN 738.5 magnetic plugs and GN 7440 fluid sight glasses are made of AISI 316L (A4) stainless steel. Winco offers the premium sight glass in standard sizes from M16 to M42 and G⅜ to G1¼. Other thread diameters are available on request. Naturally, the same applies to the threaded plugs GN 742.5 and GN 738.5.

The 2700 Medium Duty hits the sweet spot between Dorner’s popular low profile 2200 and 3200 heavy duty platforms. While the 2200 conveyor can carry up to 80 pounds, and the 3200 conveyor can support up to 400 pounds, the 2700 Medium Duty is engineered to safely convey up to 150 pounds. This expanding portfolio of industrial conveyors give customers a full breadth of options to select the right platform for their specific application.

The machining improvements are achieved by a special cutting drill contour with an added rear contour configuration that acts like a guide pad while the drill remains in the bushing, keeping the tool on location.  Once the drill is in the cut, these guide pads continue to force the tool to cut a straight path for the remainder of operation.

The laser profilers project a laser line on the gear at a specific angle, collecting data to generate the entire Z-X profile through an image sensor placed behind the optical receiver. The gear is then quickly rotated 360° to collect data points from movement along the Y axis, which is combined with the Z-X profile to create a complete 3D reconstruction of the part, made possible through specific software algorithms. The system then executes the requested measurement and inspection tasks. Line operators can easily review images and navigate to the desired level of detail to identify any anomalies.

The TD 110 tool breakage sensor can be placed in the work envelope so that it is fast and easy to reach during the tool change. The inductive sensor can detect tools as they pass by while they are spinning at their operational speed.  Thanks to its rapid scanning technology, even very small tools made of HSS steel and carbide are detected.

CoroTurn Prime B-type inserts are available for external and internal turning in a range of high-performing grades, including the new steel turning grades GC4415 and GC4425. Programming support is available in the most common CAM platforms and with CoroPlus Tool Path for PrimeTurning.

Norton for Aluminum wheels have a range of features and benefits including a 5/8"- 11" hub for quick, tool-free wheel changes. Helping to keep metal surfaces clean for defect-free, corrosion-free welding, the new wheels have a contaminate-free bond which does not need any waxes or lubricants. Also, a double coarse layer construction adds versatility and life on applications such as back-grinding and notching. Norton for Aluminum wheels construction is strong and safe, exceeding all the strictest Norton American ANSI and international safety standards.

The system handles axial grooves from dia. 2.362-in (60 mm), cutting depths up to 1.299-in (33 mm), with insert width of 0.197-in (5 mm). The new system delivers maximum productivity and cutting parameters due to optimal cooling, strength and controlled chip breaking, along with high cost-efficiency due to two cutting edges. Axial grooving is effective when the groove depth is 1.5 times greater than the groove width, but to be successful axial grooving requires dedicated tooling and a dedicated chip control insert.

Based on a technology platform similar to the existing CoroMill® 345, this new milling concept offers a 40 percent lighter cutter body with shim protection and a high number of inserts for secure and stable machining, even in vibration-prone overhang applications. The 89.5-degree approach angle enables the multi-edge cutter to work close to the fixture, which not only greatly improves machine utilization, but also ensures a longer tool life with less scrap.

Standard features on the #9683128 10" Vertical Metal-Cutting Band Saw from Palmgren include: 3-speed belt driven system, machined cast iron table with miter gauge slot, balanced cast blade wheels and a rip fence assembly and miter gauge.

As the world’s smallest digital fine boring tool with a peripheral cutting edge, the unbalanced 420 (410) series has a diameter range of 0.787 inches – 1.142 inches (20.00 millimeters – 29.00 millimeters). The 465 (464) boring heads offer automatic self-balancing and bore diameters from 1.142 inches – 8.071 inches (29.00 millimeters – 205.00 millimeters). These boring heads have a special design to minimize the residual imbalance produced by insert holder displacement.

What makes the CoroMill Dura stand out compared to the former versatile concept and competitor end mills is its WhisperKut technology. The CoroMill Dura is available from two to seven flutes with 1-4×D cutting length, with and without a chip divider. The end mills can be reconditioned up to three times to original specifications.

The system comes with a choice of two different touch probes. The UWP45 is a 45mm diameter touch probe ideal for multi-axis machining centers and compatible with the Marposs T25, TT25, TT30 and T25P probe ranges. The UWP60 is a 60mm diameter touch probe that is suited for use on large scale workstations and vertical lathes. It can be configured for use with Marposs T25, TT25 and T25P probes with extensions up to one meter in length. 

LMX linear motors comprise a metal track with multiple embedded rare earth magnets, and a coil assembly supported by a customer-supplied guideway. A key feature of the motors is that they are designed to operate with a comparatively large air gap of 1 mm, to reduce the impact of mounting tolerances on performance characteristics. For most machine tool applications, the track is held stationary and the coil assembly is free to move – but converse mounting arrangements are also practicable, with similar performance attributes.

Built for difficult applications involving ISO P, M, K and S materials, the cutters offer application-specific sub- family designs featuring left or right-hand helixes, half- or full-effective teeth options, two front insert and many radii choices for long tool life and maximum chip evacuation. Reliable and user-friendly, the Helical SN8-13 also eliminates incorrect indexing of front and helix inserts, reducing operator error.
