Measuring & Inspection Systems

The system features evaluation technology based on artificial intelligence (AI), which allows the highest accuracy to be achieved with increased robustness. The system offers a resolution of down to 0.1 nm, making it ideal for use in the production of semiconductor devices or optical components, as well as automotive, aerospace, medical and more.

The horizontal arm CMMs are supplied in three ranges – the LY-90T table version, LY-90R rail version with single or twin arms, and the shop floor ready HD-90 rail version with single or twin arms, which has been developed specifically for quality control of vehicle bodies and sub-assemblies in car plants.

The new Optoquick is well-suited for measuring transmission shafts where spline and gear features, such as OBR, ODB, pitch run-out, etc., need to be measured together with traditional measurement of the solid bearing portions. It combines a touch measuring sensor with non-contact optical scanning to provide rapid and accurate measurements while the part is rotating. Design to operate on the shop floor next to the machine, it helps speed up the work-in-progress operations and eliminates time wasted in moving parts across the shop floor.

The CNC video measurement system "NEXIV" can automatically measure the dimensions of component features using Nikon's world renowned optical and image processing technology. By analyzing the captured image of a component, detecting feature edges at high speed, both accurately and with repeatably, it is possible to quickly measure components with simple and complex features.

The TS 750 operates with high-precision pressure sensors, with force analysis for generating the trigger pulse. The forces that arise during probing are processed electronically. This method delivers extremely homogeneous, 360° probing accuracy.  It offers high probing speed of up to1 m/min and does not require a minimum speed.

The handheld Rigaku KT-500 LIBS analyzer strengthens the capabilities of LIBS technology and provides the user with better analysis of low alloy steels, stainless steels, nickel and cobalt alloys, and now carbon steels.  Because of this, the KT-500 is the solution for addressing all the most common alloy grades used in metal fabrication.  Additionally, its carbon analysis, along with low detection limits for other key elements, makes it ideal for determining carbon equivalence as well as solving many of the key applications required in petrochemical facilities including sulfidation, corrosion and residual elements.  

The M2 software is easy to use and allows for graphic-based part view feature construction and generating popular construction types like distances and tangent lines. The software also allows a user to apply geometric tolerances, view deviation results and then export the data and create reports.

High-speed and compact, delivering production site visualization, improved productivity, and information feedback. Up to 8 compact EJ Counters can be linked providing the capacity to connect to 16 gages. On a DIN rail, each unit can be connected directly without using cables to maximize space. All linked units and gages can be driven by a single power source.

A major highlight in the new HALCON 21.05 version is the Generic Shape Matching feature, which makes MVTec's industry-proven shape matching technologies even more user-friendly and future proof. Users can now implement their solutions much faster and more easily, thanks to a significant reduction in the number of operators required. Moreover, thanks to the unification of HALCON’s different shape matching methods into a single set of operators, users can now integrate new shape-matching-related features more easily.

The speed and precision of the OptoFlash enables 100+ static measurements on parts up to 60mm in length and 20 mm in diameter within two seconds at U95 = 1 µm + D/200 (D in mm) with the ability to switch from one-part type to another with just one click (flexible gauge). It captures images of the component over the 360° degrees, automatically combining several images to determine both part optical axis and measurements of the features.
