Two-Collet Chuck

As a recent addition to its EPPINGER PRECI-FLEX modular tooling system, EXSYS Tool Inc. offers a two-collet chuck that doubles the machining capability of one turning machine tool turret station. Designed for Mazak QUICK TURN and QTU series turning centers with optional high-speed drive motors, Y-axis functionality and standard BMT turrets, the double-collet chuck can deliver speeds up to 10,000 rpm with a 1:1 ratio and 20 N-m of torque and features 1,000 psi, or 70 bar, internal coolant.

CrossFlex Honing Brushes

Weiler Abrasives has introduced its new line of CrossFlex honing brushes designed to provide machinists with performance and value for their professional honing applications. Available in small, medium and large diameters and with heavy-duty options, these brushes impart a surface finish free of metal burrs and are suitable for manual or automated use.

Special Top Jaws

Special top jaws from Dillon Manufacturing can be manufactured to grip a components ID, OD or a combination of both, to suit any workholding application. Available in soft or hard jaws, or full grip jaws, for virtually any chuck manufacturer, Dillon manufactures special top jaws from 1018, 1045, 4140, 8620, A-2, 6061 aluminum, and stainless steel.

Power Milling Chucks

Shops that seek to maximize milling performance while they reduce tooling inventories will benefit from newly introduced Power Milling Chucks from Seco Tools. With holding power and transmittable torque that rival hydraulic and shrink-fit holders, Power Milling Chucks deliver high precision with 5-micron runout accuracy at 3 times diameter in addition to enhanced application flexibility and cost effectiveness.

Large-Diameter Chucks

Dillon Manufacturing specializes in premium chuck jaw products for large-diameter (15-60 inch) chucks. Matching specialized workholding to the large diameter chuck allows faster, easier and more profitable setups. Available in standard configurations to fit virtually any chuck manufacturer, many sizes of hard or soft top jaws, or full grip (pie) jaws are available from stock or with industry-leading lead times.

reCool for Quill Feed Drilling Units

What is the main purpose for coolant application? Of course, among many reasons, primarily it’s for the lubrication and cooling of the cutting edge and, in addition, to help facilitate chip evacuation. REGO-FIX has launched a cost-effective and efficient attachment for the application of coolant-lubrication liquids through the tool, based on an ER collet nut, which is suitable for use on SUHNER feed drilling units.

Collet Pad Top Jaw Systems

Collet pad top jaw systems from Dillon Manufacturing allow more aggressive machining to shorten cycle times while providing more consistent repeatability. Full contact of gripping surfaces provides a more stable grip and allows heavier cuts, while metal-to-metal fits ensure accuracy.
