TungCut Multifunctional Grooving System

For job shops that are mass-producing small parts with Swiss lathes, minimizing material waste in the part-off process can be an extremely effective solution for cost savings. The 1.2 mm-wide (.047″-wide) grooving inserts can reduce the material waste produced by parting-off by up to 40% when compared with using 2.0 mm-wide (.079″-wide) insert. This translates to, after 2,500 cuts, the saving of a 2,000 mm-long (78.74″ long) bar stock.

TANDEM PGS3 Vise

The pneumatically operated clamping force block SCHUNK TANDEM PGS3-LH 100 can be directly mounted on machine tables, dividing heads or VERO-S NSL 150 clamping stations of machining centers via an integrated flange. Its extremely compact design and square shape ensures optimum accessibility and enables a considerable stroke of 6 mm per jaw. With a clamping force of 4,500 N and a repeat accuracy of 0.02 mm, the low-maintenance SCHUNK TANDEM PGS3 is particularly suitable for basic applications in aluminum and plastics machining.

OptiThreading Software

Using the method and software, manufacturers can fully optimize their thread turning operations. As part of the solution, CoroPlus Tool Path helps users develop optimized OptiThreading tool paths that specifically overcome the challenge of chip control. This is achieved by offering tool paths that deliver controlled, oscillating movements for interrupted cuts that go in and out of the cut on all passes except the last one.

ROTA-M Flex 2+2

The SCHUNK ROTA-M flex 2+2 clamping is done in a self-locking manner, and the clamping condition is signaled via indicating pins. The standard chuck sizes 260 to 1200 achieve jaw strokes from 9.5 mm to 17.8 mm and high clamping forces from 100 kN to 180 kN. As of size 800, users benefit from the weight-reduced design. The chuck face is equipped with grooves, and fixed stops allow the chuck to also be used as a vise. Moreover, the large sizes are designed for use on vertical lathes.

WorkPartner 1+ (WPT 1+)

GF Machining Solutions offers eight WPT 1+ models. Shops can start with a single magazine unit and then add one more as production needs change. The systems easily serve one or two machines within in a production cell thanks to the flexibility of the magazine capacities and its variants (Light, Heavy or a Rotary magazine), along with fully integrated pneumatic control for gripping devices and table chucks. Large doors allow for fast and easy loading and unloading to help shorten changeover cycle times for both low and high-volume applications.

22c CNC Collet Chucks

CNC collet chucks and collets are an alternative to pneumatic or hydraulic workholding devices and are well-suited for high production runs. Standard shapes such as round, square and hexes can be held accurately and quickly compared to a three or four jaw chuck.

Brass Pie Jaws

Dillon full-grip chuck jaws are made in the USA with industry-leading lead-times. They are ideal for high-speed machining, as well as precision boring, tapping, drilling, and finishing across virtually all industrial markets.  In addition to brass, Dillon Full Grip Pie Jaws are available in 6061 aluminum, 1018 steel and cast iron.

ROTA THW3 Chuck

The ROTA THW3 chuck with quick-change jaws has been completely redesigned to fit into today’s modern machine tool technology. Today’s machines allow multiple features for today’s manufacturing.  For example, quick change tooling, large tool storage, multi spindles, and modular machine controls, to name a few. This technology creates a better experience for the customer by allowing for faster throughput, flexibility, and accuracy.  The standard chuck that typically come with these machines are not up to the task with today’s machine tool technologies and part demands. Available in stock from size 200-630mm.
