The EasySwitch vacuum creates a powerful vacuum (at a quiet 79 decibels) without the need for electricity. Because the vacuum generator has no moving parts and uses no electricity, there is little concern for failed parts, motor failure or working with liquids associated with electric industrial vacuums.

The V-817 linear stages, engineered for highly dynamic and precise motion, boast a load capacity of 600N, travel ranges from 8” (204mm) to 32” (813mm), and velocities to 3000mm/sec. Driven by 3-phase linear motors and guided by robust recirculating ball bearing guides, the low-profile design of only 63mm minimizes moving mass and tilting errors. An integrated linear encoder provides <1nm resolution and when operated with PI’s industrial motion controllers, the stages achieve 10nm minimum incremental motion, 1µm bidirectional repeatability, and 2.5µm accuracy.

The GARANT Master Tap INOX is suitable for producing through and blind hole threads with a tolerance of 6GX. As with all tools from the GARANT Master Tap product range, it provides top process reliability, performance capability, and a long working life because a special cutting edge geometry provides evenly turned chips that are ejected in a targeted way due to the optimized flutes. The backs of the teeth are specially designed to shear off the chips, polish the chip roots, and prevent loose or twisted swarf from forming.

The EN-20 product series features industrial grade 3D NAND supporting an ambient temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. This photometer detects an optical input signal and converts it into a precision, logarithmic voltage signal with high resolution. The optical power meter is used to find the maximum optical intensity quickly when integrated in fully automatic, optical FMPA alignment systems. The logarithmic scaling of the output signal is particularly advantageous for fast scans because the signal strength can fluctuate by several orders of magnitude within a few milliseconds.

AIMS Metrology, a manufacturer of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) based in Dayton, Ohio, in July introduced its new Summit 10.10.10, a CMM engineered with a 5-axis REVO-2 dynamic scanning probe and 1 meter cubed capacity.

Unlike traditional drag finishing machines, the AutoHone developed by North Kingston, Rhode Island-based Bel Air Finishing Supply Inc., rotates media instead of parts.

The Solid Carbide Radius Fillet End Mills are configured for different radius filleting. Available with two, three and four flutes, they also feature a cylindrical shank DIN 6535 HA. The LNS Fox SC2 330 Spray Cabin has a high-efficiency filtration system that eliminates more than 99% of contaminants (Afnor 440060). A powerful, low-noise, single-phase fan motor draws air at 344 CFM through a washable pre-filter and then through the long-life, easily accessible main filter. An acrylic visor helps protect operators from oil and debris spray. 

ALPHA-KUT™ consists of triangular, precision-formed abrasive grains which exhibit the continually self-sharpening properties and wear characteristics of ceramics, delivering a consistent cutting action over a long service life.  The grain strength is complemented by a rigid fiber backing for stability, allowing added pressure for maximum stock removal.  ALPHA-KUT™ quick change discs are ideal for heavy material removal or hardened materials, such as castings where the sprue is removed, large parts with excessive parting lines, large weld removal in narrow or otherwise inaccessible areas, weld or seam removal and blending, leveling and rough shaping, and more.

With the new TDM Global Line 2020 release, users achieve greater transparency regarding their tooling costs and key figures. This is possible because each user can now individually configure their TDM Global Line dashboard. The relevant reports can then either be displayed in the dashboard, printed out or simply transferred to Excel. 

The software allows users to design metrology fixturing set-ups without having to use co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other inspection devices. This reduces the amount of set-up time and increases productivity. It can be used with a CAD model of the part, which is imported into FixtureBuilder. The entire fixturing set-up, along with the part, can then be exported into inspection programming software.

This compact system was designed with motorized XYZ-axes and enables measurements to be performed directly on large parts for user-friendly surface analysis, anywhere it is needed. The CM mobile is robust and reliable enough to be used on the shop floor or in the field, and provides consistently high resolution even over large measuring areas.

With FullStream nozzles, the liquid is supplied into the body of the nozzle creating a swirling action within a vortex chamber. This vortex produces the spray pattern when the machined nozzle breaks the liquid surface tension as it exits the orifice and into a controlled spray angle.

Ideal for high volume lathe and mill turn applications, the HFKS-2G is optimum for heavy duty precision machining of easily deformed workpieces.
