Negative Inserts

Tungaloy has expanded its economical, double-sided negative insert line with the -28 chipbreaker. Featuring a pressed-in chipbreaker geometry with a large inclination angle on the sharp cutting edge, the -28 generates free cutting action with superior chip control. In addition, a negative insert design provides the cutting edge with strength and reliability when machining parts with heavy cutting conditions at varying D.O.C.

ES/EM 97 Position Switches

The actuator heads can be easily fastened, replaced or turned in 90o steps with four captive screws. The switching inserts can be removed after opening the screw-free cover – simplifying installation. With these features, steute aims to make its ES/EM 97 series universally applicable throughout the automation industry. Accordingly, it has a wide range of actuators (various fulcrum levers, roller levers, spring rods...) and dimensions to EN 50047, the prevalent standard for automation technology.

D:PLOY Automated, Application-Centered Software

D:PLOY demonstrates how the entire application, including any leading cobot or light industrial robot arm along with tooling, sensors, and other devices, is accessed and managed from D:PLOY’s dashboard. Users simply define the robot’s workspace with minimal inputs on points within the workspace, and enter attributes of the workpiece. D:PLOY automatically generates all the program logic, signal exchange, event handling, path planning, and real-time monitoring for the full application.

No Cable Technology (NCT)

The modular XTS solution has been expanded with NCT to include a special motor module as well as electronics that mount on the movers. The hardware required for the transmission technology is fully integrated into the motor module, so the system does not sacrifice any existing functionality or expand equipment footprint. No additional connections or supply lines are needed. The control of the hardware on the mover is fully implemented in standard TwinCAT software. All known TwinCAT functionalities are available for simple project implementation.

New Grades of Tiger·tec Gold Inserts

A patent-pending, highly textured, multi-layered MT-TiCN layer increases toughness and reduces flank face wear, resulting in lower cost per cutting edge. The inserts’ highly textured Al2O3 layer also minimizes crater wear, and the gold-colored top layer improves wear detection. The gradient carbide substrate boosts wear resistance and toughness. In addition, Walter provides its signature multi-stage post-treatment. This produces an unusually smooth rake face, reducing friction and also increasing toughness.

New Chipbreaker for Machining Aluminum

WIDIATM has added an AL Geometry to its ISO Turning portfolio, strengthening its broad offering of affordable tooling solutions for small to medium sized machine shops, machining aluminum and non-ferrous materials. The AL Geometry insert is offered in two grades for increased machining versatility: an uncoated microfine carbide WU10HT grade and the PVD AlTiN coated grade, WU05PT.

TechniDrill TBTA-10-180

The TBTA-10-180 is a single spindle machine with 10 inches (254 mm) of trepanning diameter capacity and 180 inches (4,572 mm) of trepanning depth. It has the capability for both a rotating tool and a counter-rotating workpiece, both of which are driven by 100 HP motors.

TCIG10 & TCIG12 inserts

Tungaloy has expanded its AddInternalCut groove turning tool series to include new TCIG12 inserts as well as additional TCIG10 inserts that allow a maximum groove width of 3.0 millimeters (.118 inches) in bores as small as 10.5 millimeter (.413 inch) diameter.
