NuMax ILock

Tangentially mounted inserts allow for smooth uniform chip formation at high feed rates. The patented end-station fully supports the insert for reliable operation and unobstructed chip evacuation. End station inserts are available from .031 to .250 corner radius with zero cutter body modifications.

1:16 Tapered Solid Carbide End Mills

EMUGE-FRANKEN 1:16 Tapered Carbide End Mills work well in a full range of materials from aluminum, carbon steels, stainless steels, and exotic nickel alloys. They are made of a premium micro-grain carbide substrate with TIALN-T21 coating which resists heat, edge wear and chipping. Corner radii further prevent wear or chipping while prolonging tool life. Tools are four-fluted, feature standard US length and straight inch shank (h6), and are available in three sizes: 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4".

G220 Turn-Mill Center

The G220 features a Z-axis slide with a motorized milling spindle and hydrodynamically mounted Y/B axis arranged above the axis of rotation. The powerful milling spindle is available with an HSK-T63 interface with specs of 12,000 rpm, 60.3 hp (49 kW) and 53.1 ft lbs (72 Nm) at 25% DC, or an HSK-T40 interface with specs of 18,000 rpm, 25.5 hp (19 kW) and 22.1 ft lbs (30 Nm) at 25% DC. This facilitates a wide range of milling and drilling operations, and the machine is also capable of full 5-axis machining.

SPN Zero-Point Clamping System

The SPN zero-point clamping system features a repeatability of 0.005 mm due to its sophisticated design. Thanks to its very high clamping forces and consistent use of tempered stainless steel, the system provides a high-precision, torsion-resistant base that also stabilises parts that have a tendency to vibrate. Zimmer’s zero-point clamping system is able to absorb maximum forces with maximum repeatability.

AH3225 Grade Inserts

DoTriple-Mill and DoQuad-Mill face milling cutters now offer AH3225 grade inserts with Tungaloy’s latest coating technology. The nano-multilayer structure, strong coating-substrate adherence, and super-hard coating surface, engineered, the coating provide the grade with superior wear and fracture resistance. Combined with dedicated tough carbide substrate with superior thermal shock resistance, AH3225 prevents thermal cracks on the cutting edge from developing to catastrophic failure, while ensuring reliability and exceptionally long tool life in all steel machining operations.

KCK20B and KCKP10 Indexable Milling Grades

KCK20B and KCKP10 are suitable for wet or dry cuts. These include rotor hubs used in windmills, pump housings, steering knuckles and gear housings for heavy equipment, and automotive components like crankshafts and cylinder heads. While KCK20B delivers higher productivity in roughing and semi-finishing operations, KCKP10 is applicable for finishing operations, but also works exceptionally well when profiling and copy milling cast iron and steels up to 45HRC.

Expanded Line of SELF-LOCK Threading Tools

The special profile of EMUGE SELF-LOCK threads allows an even distribution of stress over the entire thread length, eliminating slippage. Compared with standard threads, EMUGE SELF-LOCK internal threads show constant, maximum holding power under dynamic stress. Functions remain in good operation even with repeated loosening and re-tightening of the thread connection. The locking effect is caused by the ramp-shaped surface integrated into the thread profile,

NanoFeed

hi-feed milling performance for machining of miniature components and smaller part features. NanoFeed is a 20° hi-feed indexable insert design that will replace smaller diameter solid carbide end mills in many applications and offer great economy! Inserts have been designed with pressed-in coolant channels, directing coolant or air directly to the cutting edge for maximizing tool life! Inserts also have backdraft side clearance for straight-wall milling capability.
