PI’s new E-413.x amplifier has bipolar operation with peak currents up to 100mA per channel at -250 to +250V. For OEM applications, compact modules are also available.

The direct drive linear motor provides minimum incremental motion of 1nm, equivalent to ~7 attoseconds of delay. This performance is made possible by an interferometric type linear encoder that provides 20 picometers resolution. The maximum optical delay the V-508 stage can provide is 1668ps, larger PI linear stage models can achieve up to 8000 picoseconds.

ILME has several types of MIXO RJ45 adapters to meet the needs of industrial data transmission. The new MIXO RJ45 adapter (CX-01-J8UM) module is designed to accommodate a variety of RJ45 patch cords and drastically reduce the assembly time at the manufacturing site. The new RJ45 adapter is for fitted any RJ45 cord plugs with the maximum dimension, 34 mm (L) x 13.5 mm (W) x 9.5 mm (H). End users can simply place the patch cord into the adapter and secure it by the insulating latch: Click and Fix.

An electric actuator, the Type KR-RL offers several advantages over pneumatic types. “Where a pneumatic gripper simply provides an open and close function, the Type KR-RL offers precise force control,” stated Kinoshita. Wherever flaps, lids, covers or hoods must be closed quickly, easily and reliably, these robust toggle clamps are the ideal choice. They can even be secured with padlocks. The thread on the latch bolt allows for simple adjustment of the travel distance to ensure precise actuation of the lever.

For applications requiring XYZ motion, a motorized vertical linear module can be added at the factory - voice coil motors, linear motors, and screw drive linear modules are available, all with counterbalance or break option. Customizations, such as stage base materials (granite, aluminum, etc), a steel base, or isolators as well as mounting platforms for vision systems, laser heads, galvos or dispensers, etc., are also available.

L-812 linear motion modules are available with travel ranges from 102mm to 610mm (4” to 24”) and easily configurable. Two linear modules can be combined to form XY-tables and with the availability of the brake, a vertical axis can be added for XYZ multi-axis motion and precision automation applications. A folded drive train further facilitates integration by reducing the overall length, installing the motor side-by side with the linear stage, instead of the more common inline construction.
