Designed to highlight data usage and encourage time-saving workflow methods using clear-cut charts and graphs, the new StateMonitor V1.4.0 now offers even more benefits. One of the many new features often requested and now available in StateMonitor V1.4.0 is the ability to monitor tools within a connected machine. This now allows users to collect current tool usage data and avoid unnecessary costs due to premature tool replacement.  The new software also now can view countdowns for any programs running.

PBF is the most mature additive manufacturing technology for industrial production and represents 86 percent of the worldwide machine install base. PBF is used to build 3D parts by heating successive layers of powder, typically at the micron-level, and generally produces parts that require finishing with conventional CNC machine tools to achieve a high-quality surface finish. 

Production Manager seamlessly integrates with Hypertherm’s EDGE Connect CNC, to automatically capture machine data without the need for operator intervention. In addition, it displays real-time production data so team members across an organization can track the status of job orders, the production schedule, and pending inventory requirements.

When parts rotate without calibration, increased or insufficient pressure occurs, causing errors with the end-product. In a high precision environment, even the smallest difference can have a huge impact on the final product. When the fine tolerances have been exceeded, the result can be expensive and time-consuming repairs.

The MMS Insights module provides CNC companies with numerous highlights and suggestions on how to improve their production processes based on data gathered from the automation system, including all the integrated machinery and data systems. MMS overviews the whole production and comes up with suggestions such as adding or removing certain tools or fixtures based on usage rates or updating NC-program runtimes for more precise order scheduling.

With HollowStream nozzles, the liquid is supplied into the body of the nozzle creating a swirling action within a vortex chamber. This vortex produces the spray pattern when the machined nozzle breaks the liquid surface tension as it exits the orifice and into a controlled spray angle.

As an external loader, STUDER roboLoad measures only 59.06" (1.50 m) wide: half the width of the machine itself. This saves valuable shop floor space, and yet the system offers plenty of room for workpieces manually loaded on six trays – each measuring 42.52" x 12.6” (1080 mm x 320 mm) – within a comparatively small work area. 

VpCI-277 can provide corrosion protection for up to two years of indoor storage or during domestic or international shipments when combined with VpCI packaging materials. The product leaves a dry, non-tacky, virtually undetectable film on the metal surface. The use of rust preventatives to preserve metals during storage and transportation has traditionally been a hazardous and messy process in which greasy rust preventatives must be applied and removed several times. The C 1800H is part of the company's C series heavy-duty flatbed CNC lathes. Each model is built with Romi-made monoblock cast iron beds with hardened and ground guideways for optimum rigidity, accuracy, and performance. The C1800H features a 114 hp main motor and a geared A2-20" headstock with Timken precision bearings. It has a robust tailstock with thrust force monitoring and compensation system.

The Xtra·tec XT M5009 face milling cutter has a 45° approach angle, is available in diameters of 25-160 mm (1-6 in.) and provides a depth of cut of 5 or 6.5 mm. It features three pitches for different applications (tools with wide and medium pitch for insert size SN X1205 are designed with carbide shim), and either ScrewFit or shell mill mount interfaces.

PI’s hexapod family is growing with the addition of H-811.I2V vacuum hexapod. With a load capacity of 5kg and linear travel ranges up to 34mm and rotary ranges up to 42°, the new hexapod provides very high resolution and repeatability ±0.06µm.

The tangential design of the FIX8 insert features a rigid clamping system that pulls the insert securely into the pocket seat, offering superior stability that enables the insert to withstand large cutting forces and vibrations for optimal performance. The insert is also supported by a replaceable carbide shim, protecting the pocket against deformation and damage.

The LR-10iA/10 has a 10 kg payload and a large work envelope with a long reach of 1101 mm.  Its compact size makes it an ideal solution for companies with limited floor space, and the slim arm fits into machine tools to load and unload parts.   In addition, a fully enclosed structure features built-in airlines, solenoid valves and electrical utilities for easy integration, and an IP67 rating allows it to operate in industrial environments with dust, water and oil mist.

The quick release fastener consists of two elements: the coupling GN 1050 and the tailored threaded stud GN 1050.1. A safety locking button protects the coupling from being accidentally opened. When pressing the button, the sleeve can be moved axially to unlock a stud inserted into the notch on the inside. At the same time, a red ring becomes visible on the outside to indicate the unlocked state.
