Marposs Corp.'s new P3dME electronic gage amplifier is for post-process monitoring of smooth and grooved parts. This device, in conjunction with Marposs measuring heads, is a flexible, practical and reliable solution for checking parts immediately after they have been machined.

Marposs offers the new TTV (Total Thermal Vision) Die Temperature Monitoring solution for light alloys. This infrared vision system provides real-time measuring of the die surface temperature, allowing casters to quickly adjust and optimize the spraying process to mitigate issues that can occur when the die temperature is out of control.

Master Fluid Solutions announces TRIM MicroSol 455, a low-foam semisynthetic, microemulsion coolant that is optimized for the high-volume cast iron, ferrous and some aluminum and nonferrous metalworking operations. MicroSol 455 prevents leaching of elemental iron and eliminates clinkering and oxidation of ferrous microfines.

A new laser range launch is an important breakthrough for SIC Marking. This range uses a ytterbium-doped fiber source designed by SIC Marking, a pulsed operating mode (30 to 60 kHz), a wavelength of 1,064 nm and an average power of 20W (available in 30W and 50W).

Marposs announces the availability of Confocal, a noncontact measuring system that enables very fast, high resolution distance and thickness gauging of almost any surface including solid, transparent and polished mirror surfaces such as glass, plastic or silicon wafers. Marposs Corp. has introduced its new M62 Flex manual bench gage system. Created for the production environment, this gage provides the flexibility to measure gears with different diameters without mechanical retooling. Utilizing a universal reference “Vee” on a 30-degree angle eliminates the need of using an ID centering post (or nosepiece) to locate each part for measuring, and it reduces setup time.

Marposs has expanded its TS line of contact tool setters with the addition of the VOTS 90° optical probe for use on vertical machining centers. Due to its horizontal design, the VOTS 90° can be installed on the machine table outside the working area. This saves machining space without compromising on tool inspection.

Marposs has announced its Brankamp X5 in-process, real-time monitoring systems for cold and hot forming, thread rolling and stamping operations.
