MAXIEM 1530 Waterjet Cutting Machine

OMAX's MAXIEM 1530 waterjet with multiple-axis cutting capabilities can be paired with an A-Jet cutting head. A
cutting range from 0° to 60° off vertical, the A-Jet can easily cut beveled edges, angled sides, and countersinks. Advanced features in the Intelli-MAX software suite allow the A-Jet to compensate for taper and easily create complex 3D shapes.

From prototype development or full-scale production, the MAXIEM 1530 can do it all. With a cutting area of 10 feet by 5 feet 2 inches, the rigid tank design is scaled to handle common plate sizes with room to spare. The advanced linear motion system uses digital linear encoders to provide instant accurate cutting head position feedback to the
controller to assure precise part production.

The Intelli-TRAX linear drive system on the MAXIEM 1530 utilizes brushless servomotors, integrated servodrives and high-precision linear encoders to provide constant and continuous feedback on the actual cutting head position. The drive system moves the nozzle in a fast, smooth manner along the X-Y axis, resulting in an accuracy of motion as tight as +/- 0.003".

A variety of optional accessories are available for use with the 1530 so that it can accommodate a broad range of production requirements. Such options include an AJet multiple-axis cutting head for 5-axis machining and taper compensation, Rapid Water Level Control for quiet, clean submerged cutting and a Terrain Follower for working with uneven surfaces. These accessories can be paired with the machine at the time of purchase or installed at a later date based on need.
