Makino Inc.'s a61nx HMC has a travel of 28.7" in the X-axis, 25.6" in the Y-axis and 31.5" in the Z-axis. An optional tall column expands the Y-axis to 28.7". Maximum tool length is 20.1". The 14,000-rpm standard spindle has 240 Nm of duty-rated torque and 22kW of continuous output. An optional 300-Nm spindle for high metal-removal rates in ferrous applications is available.
