JETCAM Orders Controller (JOC) Premium and Premium Automation v3.15

JETCAM International s.a.r.l. announced the release of JETCAM Orders Controller (JOC) Premium and Premium Automation v3.15, with several new features. The JOC product range is an accompaniment to the JETCAM Expert nesting system, allowing remote generation of tooled component files or dynamic nests of ordered components. In addition, it provides features such as part costing, easy data exchange with external systems (such as MRP) and comprehensive nest reporting features.

The latest version adds features to the Premium Automation version of JOC, further de-skilling the CAM and nesting processes through automation, but still allowing the user with override controls to deal with ‘real-world’ situations. New overrides include the ability to disable NC code generation, useful when running nest material comparisons, enabling of ‘JET-Cut’ fly cutting support, multi-sheet nesting and auto double-hit removal.

Component reprogramming is a powerful new feature that allows entire directories of components to be reprogrammed and re-tooled automatically, which allows for all existing parts to be reprogrammed when a new CNC machine is purchased.

Other features include support for floating licenses, enhancements to DXF CAD splitting and the ability for JOC Lite users to easily migrate assembly and order databases when upgrading to higher versions.

Martin Bailey, general manager for JETCAM International s.a.r.l., said; “The JOC range continues to add value to the overall JETCAM solution, providing more statistical feedback to staff while streamlining and automating workflow processes.”

Customers with a current maintenance contract can download the latest version for free from jetcam.com. Tutorial videos on all new features are also available via the website.
