Tsugami America, the exclusive North American importer of Precision Tsugami machine tools, has appointed Derek Briggs as its director of engineering.
In his role, Briggs will oversee the new Process Development Center at Tsugami America corporate headquarters Windsor, Connecticut, the application engineering department and the product management team.

Briggs has been a valued member of the Tsugami America team for over a decade, where he supported customers in both engineering and product management roles. Prior to his time with Tsugami America, Briggs worked on Tsugami Swiss Machines at both Bil-Mac Corporation in Michigan and F&F Machine Products in Indiana, where he was born and raised.
