The XNMU inserts are the original concept of double-sided inserts with 4 right-hand and 4 left-hand helical cutting edges for slot milling cutters. These inserts are made of SUMOTEC carbide grades, designed for milling alloy steel, ferritic and martensitic stainless steel, and cast-iron. 

Neofeed Cutters

When mounted in a NEOFEED tool, the insert enables a positive tool rake angle which assures smooth cutting and reduced cutting forces and power consumption. The insert pocket has a dovetail shape that provides rigid and reliable insert clamping and improves the a cutter’s capability to withstand heavy load. These features provide increased cutting data for better productivity and for improved tool life.

T-SLOT

The spline connection designation is SP… where the no. indicates the connection size.
The general duty cutting geometry of the heads is suited for efficient slot milling on a wide spectrum of workpiece materials for maximum depth of cut.

TungMeister GH730 and AH715 Grade Milling Heads

This expansion increases GH730  grade options of the VST and VTB slot milling heads and the VTR thread milling heads. A PVD grade consisting of extremely wear-resistant coating layer, combined with a tough carbide substrate dedicated to the coating, GH730 provides much better wear resistance than the previous generation GH130. These characteristics provide the grade with long, predictable tool life during threading and grooving operations.

Cutter Heads

The cutter heads are designed to meet nearly all requirements, offering ISO standard cutter heads with the SL-Serration Lock interface for various applications like longitudinal turning, roughing, profile turning, threading, and more.

Solid Carbide Milling Cutter

Due to their geometry and good chip breaking, the milling tools are suitable for machining numerous other materials. Due to the precise combination of the substrate, the macro and micro geometry as well as the IG3 coating, the milling system exhibits high performance and long tool life. The coating in particular offers high temperature resistance for machining steels alloyed with chromium, nickel and molybdenum.
