Walter Surface Technologies has fully redesigned its ICECUT line of powerful magnetic drilling units and annular cutters. At 22 lbs. and 27 lbs. respectively, the ICECUT 100 and ICECUT 200 mag drills are lightweight.

Tool precision depends directly on the production accuracy of the blanks used. There is a new addition to the market to create complex geometries with exact concentricity and dimensional accuracy: the cylindrical grinding machine ShapeSmart NP3+ from Rollomatic. Thanks to its modular structure, the machine can be easily adapted to any requirement and any budget.

Dillon full-grip jaws, machined from 6061 extruded aluminum, provide added options for full-grip jaw customers who have traditionally used cast aluminum jaws. Available from 5" to 24" in diameter, these jaws can be modified to heights of 10” and provide widths that extend beyond the chuck face diameter.

Sandvik Coromant has introduced a high-precision hydraulic chuck for turning operations that offers enhanced pull-out security. CoroChuck 935 has been designed to deliver fast, rigid and secure clamping, time after time.

Walter has introduced the Walter Prototyp ceramic milling cutters MC275/MC075. These two new tools deliver significantly increased productivity, cutting speeds and high metal-removal rates in the machining of nickel-based alloys.
