Sandvik Coromant has introduced a high-precision hydraulic chuck for turning operations that offers enhanced pull-out security. CoroChuck 935 has been designed to deliver fast, rigid and secure clamping, time after time.

Walter has introduced the Walter Prototyp ceramic milling cutters MC275/MC075. These two new tools deliver significantly increased productivity, cutting speeds and high metal-removal rates in the machining of nickel-based alloys.

SCHUNK says the intelligent jaw design of the SCHUNK UVB-HS soft chuck jaws defines a new class of efficiency in lathe chuck technology. With a combination of overheight and angle cutting, it achieves a whole bundle of efficiency effects during finish machining of workpieces.

Following last year’s launch of PrimeTurning methodology and tools for external turning operations, Sandvik Coromant is introducing a dedicated CoroTurn Prime SL head that makes this process available for internal turning operations. The new SL head will meet the needs of oil and gas, aerospace and other manufacturers that machine diameters in excess of 90 mm (3.5 inches) and overhangs up to 8–10×D.
