ATI Industrial Automation has developed a new series of single-axis compliant deburring tools. The RS-151, RS-340 and RS-660-ER models provide radial, single-axis compliance, allowing the spindle and cutter to pivot in one plane about a single-axis to provide high stiffness parallel to (and excellent compliance perpendicular to) the direction of motion resulting in exceptional surface finishes.

UnionChemnitz has developed a new precision boring mill. The KCG was developed to fill the gap in the market between a classic boring mill and a jig boring machine in terms of precision and price-performance ratio. Marposs Corp.’s Brankamp CMS system for collision monitoring is designed to reduce or even eliminate machine collisions that generally lead to high repair costs and long downtimes.
