Victory M1200 Facemills

October 01, 2010

Widia has added tool bodies and inserts to its Victory M1200 series for facemilling steel, stainless steel, high-strength steel, cast iron and nonferrous materials. The M1200HF (High Feed) cutter accepts standard M1200 HN .09 inserts with 12 cutting edges, but utilizes chip thinning to increase the feed per tooth by up to 14 times compared to the standard M1200, according to the company. In addition, the M1200 Mini accepts inserts with 12 cutting edges and can achieve a maximum DOC of 3.5mm.
