oelheld is adding SintoGrind TC-X 630 as the new entry level product to its flagship and perennial SintoGrind series. SintoGrind TC-X 630 is made from the latest generation of GTL base oils.
GTL stands for gas to liquid. GTL technology converts natural gas – the cleanestburning fossil fuel – into high-quality liquid products that would be otherwise be made from crude oil. GTL base oils are colorless and odorless. They contain almost none of the impurities found in crude oil, such as sulfur, aromatics and nitrogen.
SintoGrind TC-X 630 will set new standards in its product and price class. The product is designed for flute grinding, profile grinding, and OD and ID grinding. SintoGrind TC-X 630 works on a wide variety of materials including tungsten carbide, HSS, PCD, CBN, cermet and ceramics. SintoGrind TC-X 630 contains no hazardous elements and exhibits stable viscosity over a wide temperature spectrum.

Thus, the tungsten carbide may be used to refer to pure tungsten carbide as well as co-bonded tungsten carbide, which may or may not contain added titanium carbide and/or tantalum carbide.
