MRO Industrial Gear Oils

Klüber Lubrication introduces industrial gear oils to its maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) portfolio.

There is a current demand for the transmission of ever-growing power and torque in gears of all performance grades. This demand, combined with reduced gear size and weight, requires the application of mineral and synthetic high-performance lubricants.

The new advanced MRO gear oils from Klüber Lubrication optimize gearbox performance across many industries, including automotive. American-made MRO gear oils from Klüber Lubrication include both mineral-based and synthetic PAO-based lubricants that benefit a range of applications. These oils are intended for use in equipment with general industrial spur, bevel, hypoid and planetary gears subject to both normal and heavy loads. With good scuffing resistance, these oils protect equipment and prevent wear.

The expanded MRO gear oil portfolio includes both food-grade and nonfood-grade oils that deliver distinct benefits:

  • Klübersynth G 4, a PAO-based R&O gear oil, and Klübersynth EG 4, a PAO-based EP gear oil, have excellent oxidation resistance that extends relubrication intervals while their advanced formulations improve gear efficiency.
  • Klüberoil NH1 G 1, a white-mineral-oil-based food-grade gear oil, has optimized antioxidant additives that prolong oil life. Klüberoil NH1 G 4, a PAO-based food-grade gear oil, has excellent oxidation resistance that extends relubrication intervals. These two oils benefit food-processing applications as both are registered as NSF H1 lubricants for incidental contact with food.
  • Klüberoil MEG 1, a multipurpose mineral-based EP gear oil, benefits applications beyond gears and can be used to lubricate bearings, couplings, chains and more.

The increased power-to-weight ratio of today’s gears requires more from a lubricant. Using the right one makes a big difference. New MRO gear oils from Klüber Lubrication extend gearbox life, improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
