Cotton Fiber Abrasive Wheels

January 01, 2011

A new line of flexible, cotton fiber abrasive wheels for deburing, blending, and finishing a wide variety of machined, cast, and stamped metal parts is being introduced by Rex-Cut Products Inc. Smooth Touch deburing, blending, and finishing wheels are made of cotton fiber impregnated with abrasives and feature a proprietary bond that provides one density which is suitable for applications of conventional 2-9 density unitized wheels. Flexible and conformable for use on contoured and flat surfaces and to reach into corners, they offer smooth control and come in standard coarse, medium, and fine grits.

Available in 2", 3", 4", and 6" dia. sizes, 18", ¼", and ½" thick, Rex-Cut Smooth Touch deburring, blending, and finishing wheels are designed for use on stainless steel, exotic alloys, and aluminum; especially requiring a high finish. Because of the proprietary bond, they will last up to five times longer than conventional unitized wheels, claims the firm. Abrasive Wheels are priced according to grit, size, and quantity.
