Fixtureworks introduces Vise Force wedge clamps from Paws Workholding to its extensive lineup of manual clamps and workholding solutions. Vise Force wedge clamps provide a fast and flexible workholding solution and are ideal for clamping multiple workpieces.

WDS Component Parts Ltd. has extended its range of detent pins, including new type of grips so that customers can choose a style on aesthetic or ergonomic grounds. Detent pins are a quick and easy way to locate and secure parts in place. In use they are manually pushed into place to hold the parts and lock themselves into position by way of a pair of spring loaded ball bearings at the leading end. However, the pin can be removed with a sharp tug.

SCHUNK has introduced several improvements on the original PGN-Plus and has announced the newest generation gripper, PGN-Plus-P. Enlarged supporting dimensions between the six load-bearing shoulders of the multiple-tooth guidance allow higher moment capacity, which can accommodated longer fingers and greater loads.

The SCHUNK Vero-S Aviation product line is designed to rigidly clamp large parts accurately, and through its unique design enable the user to release the part enough to allow the part to move (compensate) due to the stresses of machining without fully releasing the part. Therefore, the clamp/unclamp and reclamping of the stress relieved part can be done in under a minute without losing the established primary reference datums.
