TPW / EPW Type Milling Cutter Series

The addition to the "TPW / EPW Type" series includes CBN inserts designed for high-speed cast iron finishing. In addition to the economical 2-corner standard insert, a wiper insert option is also available to achieve excellent surface finish. The insert grade is High-content CBN "BX480," which consists of densely bonded medium-grain CBN. This grade offers high hardness, toughness, and superior thermal conductivity, making it suitable for high-speed machining at cutting speeds (Vc) exceeding 1000m/min.

MaxiMill – 211-DC

The MaxiMill – 211-DC has 60% longer tool life compared to tools with standard cooling. Further, despite the complexity of the coolant holes inside the tool body, the MaxiMill – 211-DC is compatible with standard adapters with through-coolant supply without requiring any standard coolant on the chip breaker.

Skiving Tools

Skiving tools can be used in a variety of gear applications including the production of ring gears, shafts with internal and external splines and splined shaft profiles. EMUGE-FRANKEN Skiving Tools have no restrictions regarding the material to be machined and are highly suitable for the soft machining of internal and external gears, as well as hard machining. The skiving tools can be used on turning/ milling centers with B or A axes (swivel axes).

XTRA∙TEC XT M5250

The M5250 cutter is effective for milling steel, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals (ISO P, K, M and N workpiece groups), as well as materials with difficult cutting properties. Unlike other full-effective helical milling cutters, the XTRA∙TEC® XT M5250 can also be used for full slotting, shoulder milling, pocket milling and ramping. The positive rhombic basic shape of the face insert makes ramping possible.
