Optoflash is the newest and fastest addition to the Marposs' optical measuring line and can measure small-size shafts, fasteners and dental implants. Its robust external structure allows the Optoflash to perform static and dynamic measurements in the production environment with the same quality as it does in the lab, according to the company.

Marposs has announced the availability of its new standalone ARTIS VM-02, featuring a MEMS or 3-axis piezoelectric monitoring sensor that measures in-process machine tool acceleration values (g), helping to minimize damages after a dynamic crash. Part of the Genior Modular machine monitoring system family, the VM-02 is a low-cost, upgradeable solution with an ultrafast reaction time of <1 millisecond.

Marposs offers its high-accuracy Mida Diamond touch probes, which feature piezo-electric technology and are designed for 5-axis machining centers and milling machines. These probes, available in optical or radio transmission styles, provide enhanced measurement performance on 3D surfaces with repeatability within 0.25 µm and are well-suited to industries where precision requirements are pushed to the limits daily, such as die and mold, aerospace, aeronautics and biomedical.

The Alliance/CAS Transit series portable platform scale incorporates a tubular design with four-point overload protection and lets users easily weigh or count items virtually anywhere weighing happens.

EXAIR's new digital flowmeters with wireless capability use a Zigbee mesh network protocol to measure and monitor compressed air use, trends and historical data. Each meter has a range of 100ꞌ (30 meters) and transmits data to an Ethernet-connected gateway.

Custom-manufactured portable rack scales for weighing pipe or bar stock up to 12,000 lbs. inside a facility or at a construction site and accumulating the data are available from Alliance Scale Inc. Alliance portable rack scales feature a rugged steel frame, pipe carriages, locking wheels and casters, and are equipped with a CAS CI-201A weighing indicator with a full keypad, an LCD display and accumulation counting.
