Ultrathin Noncontact Probe

Novacam Technologies has introduced a noncontact probe with a 0.02” (0.5 mm) diameter. Designed to be used with either Novacam TubeInspect or BoreInspect 3D metrology systems, this ultrathin fiber-based probe reaches inside to measure tubes, bores and other hard-to-reach spaces with IDs as small as 0.04” (1 mm).

360° FMC-Tracker Flexible Measurement Cell

Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division announced the launch of the new 360° FMC-Tracker, a flexible measurement cell powered by the "absolute accuracy" of the Leica Absolute Tracker AT960 and the Leica T-Scan 5 laser scanner. Designed to measure mid-to-large sized parts, manufacturers can utilize the in-line, near-line or off-line options of the 360° FMC-Tracker for automated measurement productivity.

2700 Digital Electronic Indicators

The L.S. Starrett Co. has introduced a range of digital electronic Indicators conforming to true AGD (American Gage Design) Group 1 dimensions, providing the ability to replace traditional mechanical indicating applications in the smallest AGD size specification class. Starrett 2700 electronic indicators are the first digital gages to match true AGD Group 1 dimensions (1.70"/ 43mm diameter).
