RPAM 700 from Chemtool Inc. is a synthetic, water dilutable corrosion inhibitor/corrosion preventive, based upon an enhanced blend of select amine-surfactant chemistries. RPAM 700 is recommended for use in aqueous circulating systems applications which require short term (1-3 months) to moderate term (3-6 months) indoor protection of both ferrous and nonferrous metallic components. RPAM 700 contains no diethanolamine or nitrites.
RPAM 700 exhibits excellent wetting and coverage properties on all ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, according to the company. This outstanding film coverage is critical for good corrosion protection, especially on complex surfaces and geometries. RPAM 700 can be utilized as a corrosion inhibitor for aqueous circulating systems at a suggested starting concentration of 5 percent for systems containing both ferrous and non-ferrous components and assemblies.
