J.W. Winco Inc. offers GN 631.5 Stainless Steel Thrust Pads in metric sizes. These RoHS-compliant thrust pads, when used with GN 632.5 grub screws, are a low-cost solution for clamping operations or for load bearing purposes.
The resulting assembly leans to accommodate uneven surfaces. It is easy to press the ball point of the grub screw into the thrust pad by hand.
Thrust pads are made of stainless steel, European standard No. 1.4305 (American standard 303). They have O-rings of FPM Rubber (Viton). Pad diameters range from 21 to 40mm.
