"Applications include loading and unloading all types of ferrous stock including plate, block or round steel and press molds. Simply center the magnet on the metal to be lifted and turn the lever to engage the magnet," says Michael Harris, National Sales Manager.
These little lifters feature powerful "rare earth" magnets rated to lift up to 6,600 lbs. Using spreader bars increases capacity up to 13,500 lbs. According to the manufacturer, lifting magnets improve safety, ease-of-use and speed compared to sling and strap systems.
