Seco Tools LLCTROY, Mich., November 27, 2018 – Seco Tools was awarded Supplier of the Year at the 2018 gathering of the Affiliated Distributors Industrial Members, Suppliers and Service Providers in Orlando, Florida. Seco Tools received the award as a Tier 2 supplier, representing those companies with which distributors conduct $8 million or more of business.

"Our distributors are our biggest asset because they're our brand ambassadors," said Scott Hecht, Seco Channel Sales Director. "We pride ourselves on running a distributor-friendly organization that reflects how much we appreciate their value."

In North America, Seco Tools works with 118 distributors, 86 of whom are located in the United States. The company has participated in the Affiliated Distributors organization as a supplier for about a decade.

Nominations and voting for this award come from AD members, locally owned and operated distributors who combine to create a network with buying and marketing power designed to promote independent distribution. Selection and voting criteria reflect supplier sales growth and planning, along with a commitment to helping distributors convert competitors' products and to achieving shared business goals.

Seco received the award from Scott Stapp, Vice President of Navasota Industrial Supply, Navasota, Texas, and chairman of the Seco distributor Advisory Council.
