OSG USA Inc., St. Charles, Illinois, has promoted Jeff Tennant to chief executive officer for the OSG North America Group, wich includes OSG Canada, OSG Royco, and Amamco. Tennant also will serve as president and CEO of OSG USA and continue to serve as a member of the board of directors and as an executive officer of the OSG Corp. representing the OSG North American Group.

Walter has signed an agreement to acquire the U.S.-based GWS Tool Group, a manufacturer of solid carbide endmills and drills as well as HSS taps and PCD products. GWS is focused on highly engineered customized cutting tools for the American market. 

To share its 2024 sales results, 2025 expectations, and new product offerings with international trade media, Fritz Studer AG held its annual press conference on March 27. The event was streamed from the company’s in-house studio at its headquarters in Steffisburg, Switzerland.
