Romi has named Rafael Boldorini as general manager of Romi Machine Tools Ltd. (Romi USA), the Brazilian-based company’s U.S. operations in Erlanger, Kentucky. Boldorini has been with the company since 2004, and is now responsible for all operations, marketing, sales and customer support in the U.S. market.

IoT technologies have perhaps been most visible in the consumer market. Applications that once seemed futuristic are now almost commonplace. In 2017, AccuRounds began talks with MachineMetrics and installed their machine monitoring system on 10 CNC machines in January 2018.
