Rafael Boldorini named general manager of Romi Machine Tools

Romi has named Rafael Boldorini as general manager of Romi Machine Tools Ltd. (Romi USA), the Brazilian-based company’s U.S. operations in Erlanger, Kentucky. Boldorini has been with the company since 2004, and is now responsible for all operations, marketing, sales and customer support in the U.S. market.

Upon graduating from São Paulo State University in 2004 with a degree in mechanical engineering, Boldorini accepted a position with Romi as a trainee, where he gained valuable experience in engineering, production, marketing and sales. He simltaneously continued his education, earning an MBA in business management from FGV, the São Paulo School of Business Administration, and then an MBA in marketing from the University of São Paulo. At Romi, he quickly worked his way up to sales, team management and then sales branch management. Previous to his new position as Romi USA’s general manager, Boldorini was sales branch manager at Romi’s Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, facililty.

Boldorini said, “My goal is to build a stronger brand presence in the U.S. market, and show customers here in the States what we sometimes refer to as the ‘The Romi Difference.’ Our unique machine tool solutions are helping improve manufacturing productivity and efficiency at thousands of customer locations around the world.
