Shop Ingenuity is the first in a planned series of video reports featuring shop innovations. In the debut episode, Cutting Tool Engineering visits with CNC Supervisor Jeffrey Johnson at Tuttle Manufacturing in Barrington, IL. Johnson set out to improve the production time for a part that the shop has been running every other month for a customer who continues to increase the order each time.

While CTE intends to revisit Tuttle Manufacturing for future episodes of Shop Ingenuity, this video series is open to any shop that would like to share a similar story of shop innovation. If your shop would like to be featured in our Shop Ingenuity video series, please contact Dennis Spaeth, CTE's electronic media editor, at (847) 714-0176 or dspaeth@jwr.com.
