Supfina Machine Company Inc. expands US sales team

Robert "R.J." FisherSupfina Machine Company Inc., North Kingstown, R.I., a manufacturer of surface-finishing systems and equipment, has added two members to its U.S. sales team. Robert "R.J." Fisher is regional sales manager for the West while Heike Kemmer is regional sales manager for the Northeast.

A former OEM field process engineer for Supfina Machine Company, Fisher returns from Cummins Inc., a Columbus, Ind.-based maker of diesel and alternative fuel engines and generators. At Cummins, he served as a manufacturing engineer,Heike Kemmer implementing process improvements that cut costs while boosting product quality. He received a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Maine.

Kemmer joins Supfina from Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG, Bad Mergentheim, Germany, where she was key account manager for renewable energies. She completed an apprenticeship at Würth Industrie Service, a full-service supplier of mounting materials and fasteners for industrial production, while receiving a Bachelor of Arts in international business-industrial sales and marketing from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University. A native of Germany, Kemmer is also fluent in English and French.

"Their addition is especially important as we continue to expand our extensive portfolio of surface-finishing systems, which — with our new Spiro F5 and Spiro F7 machines — now includes fine grinding."
