Sandvik Coromant wins innovation award

Sandvik Coromant, has earned the 2023 NED Innovation Award for the Sandvik Coromant CoroPlex YT product in the MachineTools and Metalworking category.

This award is given to companies with the most innovative products that offer new capabilities, and new levels of efficiency or harness the latest technologies to empower manufacturers to work faster, better, and more cost-effectively than ever before.

Each year, New Equipment Digest (NED) invites companies to apply for the award. The evaluation and selection process includes an in-depth questionnaire and supporting statement that details the innovative product or solution.

Selected by a panel of professional manufacturing industry experts including plant managers, engineers, and industrial buyers, one winner is selected from categories such as Automation, Facility Operations, Process Equipment, and Software and Computers.

The company said that the manufacturing industry is constantly evolving, and "we’re evolving along with it. Through the years we have contributed to the industry with new products, solutions and methods that have improved processes and ways of working. Big or small, innovations are the heart of our company. And it is an honor to see our CoroPlex YT product recognized within the industry."
