Cincinnati Inc. (CI) continues its manufacturing solutions with the new MARCH (Multi Axis Rapid Cincinnati Handling) system for automated handling of metal fabrication materials. The MARCH system is for use with CI lasers to reduce operating cost and increase productivity and safety.

Custom lenses and windows made from zinc selenide, zinc sulfide, fused silica, germanium, silicon and other materials for a myriad of applications are available from Laser Research Optics.

Cincinnati Inc.’s (CI) fiber lasers are available with high-performance light sources from nLIGHT. The new partnership combines nLIGHT’s advanced laser technology with CI’s laser cutting systems to provide job shops and OEMs with the ability to cut reflective “red” metals. The nLIGHT light sources are available on CI’s 900 series fiber lasers.

PI (Physik Instrumente) L.P has expanded its E-709 family of low-cost digital piezo nanopositioning controllers with a new plug-in module for the C-885 PIMotionMaster modular controller system.

FOBA Laser Marking + Engraving has further optimized the capability of its CO2-laser marking systems. In response to increasing demands for marking quality and speed, FOBA introduces 10- and 30-watt lasers that mark a broad range of materials with variable contents.

To meet the increasing utilization of superhard materials in production processes, notably aerospace, Agathon Machine Tools Inc. has introduced the Neo Roughing Laser for accelerated processing rates, and overall indexable insert production savings. The Neo has three mechanical axes and three optical axes for processing the periphery, clearance angles and chipbreakers.

The new 100-Watt fiber laser FOBA Y.1000 operates up to 40 percent faster than common 50-Watt lasers and allows for marking substrates that are usually difficult to mark with other models. It applies robust marks on heavy wear products to ensure abrasion-proof legibility.
