The demonstration quickly became the most viewed video on CTE's YouTube channel. And it continues to draw viewers to this day. As of Dec. 4, 2019, the video has 376,971 views. In the video, Blue Wave Ultrasonics Sales Director Jeff Hancock explains the relationship between ultrasonic pressure waves and microscopic cavitation bubbles working in an aqueous solution. Given the popularity and staying power of this report, CTE revisited the original video submission from Blue Wave Ultrasonics and produced an updated, fuller version. The new video includes slides from Blue Wave that were edited out of the original post."/>

As a video supplement to the May 2013 issue of Cutting Tool Engineering magazine, Blue Wave Ultrasonics, Davenport, Iowa, filmed a demonstration of the ultrasonic cleaning process. CTE posted a slightly edited version of the video to its YouTube channel on April 16, 2013.
