Titan's ScopePad-200 is an all-in-one camera and tablet computer that can turn any microscope into a videoscope, according to the company.
The unit comes with a 2 megapixel CMOS camera attached to a 7" Android tablet with a 800 x 480 resolution, multipoint-capacitance touch screen. This allows the operator to view images from the microscope directly on the screen and then capture the image. Because it runs on the Android 2.2 platform, it connects to any wireless network, allowing the user to e-mail images.
The ScopePad-200 can be directly attached to any C-mount adapter for trinocular microscopes or, with the addition of the EA-200 adapterny stereo or monocular microscope. The adapter comes with a 0.5x magnification lens and 23mm, 30mm and 30.5mm eye tube adapters to fit most standard microscope eye tubes.
