Rockford Systems Inc. offers a roll-up lead screw protection device for lathes. This safety device protects the operator from coming into contact with moving parts of the lathe, and keeps work clothes from getting entangled with moving parts.
Two self-rolling/unrolling units consists of a tear-and oil-resistant band attached to aluminum and pressed steel brackets that secure to and travel with the lathe carriage. The roll-up lead screw protection device is available in different band widths and lengths.

Endless band, normally with serrated teeth, that serves as the cutting tool for cutoff or contour band machines.
Turning machine capable of sawing, milling, grinding, gear-cutting, drilling, reaming, boring, threading, facing, chamfering, grooving, knurling, spinning, parting, necking, taper-cutting, and cam- and eccentric-cutting, as well as step- and straight-turning.
