Expanding ECKI-H4R-CF Solid Carbide Endmills Line with a Diameter of 1” and Different Corner Radii

In response to market demand, ISCAR is expanding the ECKI-H4R-CF chatter-free line of 2xD endmills. These endmills, designed specifically for high removal rate machining of titanium, are now available with a diameter of 1” and a variety of new corner radii.

The larger diameter not only increases our market share but also enhances the suitability of the ECKI-H4R-CF for a wider range of applications.

Features

  • Unique geometries.
  • Best chatter free tools for high removal rates when machining titanium
    (up to 2xd full slotting).
  • 4 flute endmills with different helix and variable pitch.

Related Glossary Terms

  • chatter

    chatter

Condition of vibration involving the machine, workpiece and cutting tool. Once this condition arises, it is often self-sustaining until the problem is corrected. Chatter can be identified when lines or grooves appear at regular intervals in the workpiece. These lines or grooves are caused by the teeth of the cutter as they vibrate in and out of the workpiece and their spacing depends on the frequency of vibration.

  • pitch

    pitch

    1. On a saw blade, the number of teeth per inch. 2. In threading, the number of threads per inch.
