The Maxiem 1530 waterjet.

Capital Machine Technologies Inc., a distributor of metal fabrication and robotic welding equipment, is hosting the OMAX Dallas Demo Days that will allow attendees to have a one-on-one session and learn about waterjet technology and the Maxiem 1530 JetMachining Center. The event, scheduled for Nov. 17 -19, is on an appointment-only basis.

The customizable Maxiem 1530 has a cutting area of 10" by 5’ 2", and a rigid tank design that is scaled to handle common plate sizes. The unit’s advanced linear motion system uses digital linear encoders to provide instant accurate cutting head position feedback to the controller to assure precise part production.

The IntelliTRAX linear drive system on the Maxiem 1530 utilizes brushless servo motors, integrated servo drives and high precision linear encoders to provide constant and continuous feedback on the actual cutting head position. The drive system moves the nozzle in a fast, smooth manner along the X-Y axis, resulting in an accuracy of motion as tight as ±0.003".
