Role changes at Kyocera Hardcoating Technologies Ltd.

Kyocera Hardcoating Technologies (KHTL) a division of Kyocera SGS PrJim Haagecision Tools Group is pleased to announce personnel changes within the coating division in Munroe Falls, Ohio.

Jim Haag, current President of KHTL, has decided to retire after 35 years of service in the industry with SGS Tool Company, Hardcoating Technologies and Kyocera Industrial Tool Group. Jim has selected Friday, April 5th as his retirement date and will look forward to some travel, rest and relaxation in his new journey. Jim was the first employee of Hardcoating Technologies when the company was launched in 1996 and has maintained his leadership role in this successful operation for over 20 years.

With Jim’s retirement, Greg Minnich has been named as President of Kyocera Hardcoating Technologies, Ltd. effective April 1st, 2019. While Greg has only Greg Minnichbeen with Kyocera since October, he came to KHTL with over 25 years of experience in PVD coatings having held many positions in his career from building and operating PVD equipment to coating center management, new product and process implementation, and head of cutting tool coating sales for the Americas.
