Dorner Europe expands German manufacturing facility

Dorner Manufacturing Corp., Hartland, Wisconsin, completed a major expansion of its facility in Germany, a project that doubles production space, adds jobs and effectively positions the company to become even more responsive to customers throughout the region.

The expansion now gives Dorner Europe, based in Jülich, Germany, a facility with 2,120 square meters of production space. Additionally, Dorner Europe has already hired new employees, including industrial mechanics and technicians, and plans to add more employees to help support the growing demand of its conveyor systems to its European and Middle Eastern customers.  

The expansion paves the way for Dorner Europe to begin production of the 2200 Series, a versatile conveyor line engineered for numerous applications and industries, including accumulation, small-part transfers, inclines and declines, automated and manual assembly, packaging and industrial. 

“We see strong growth opportunities in Europe and the Middle East, and the expansion of Dorner Europe will help ensure we continue delivering the high level of products and support our customers throughout the region expect from us,” said Sven Fitschen, Managing Director, Dorner Europe.
